How do I check my hard drive for errors to solve Rocket League issues?

Errors in the file system on your hard drive can cause programs (including Rocket League) to fail or work improperly. Microsoft has included a tool called "Chkdsk" (CheckDisk) in Windows. Running Chkdsk will search your system files for errors and attempt to fix them.

Most computers have their operating system installed on the C: drive. If you have additional drives you may need to run Chkdsk on them as well.

In Windows 10 do the following:

  1. Click the Folder icon in the lower-left corner of the screen.
  2. Right-click Local Disk (C:).
  3. Select Properties.
  4. Click the Tools tab.
  5. Click the Check button.
  6. Click the Scan Drive button.

If an error is found, you will be asked to reboot your computer so that Windows can attempt to fix the error. If you continue to have problems you will need to contact Microsoft Support for further help.
