How to back up Save Data on PlayStation to troubleshoot Rocket League Load Failure errors

You can choose from one of the three following options to back up your data:

  • Online Storage
  • Cloud Storage
  • USB Storage

Online Storage

If you have a PlayStation Plus subscription, you can take advantage of their online storage. Click on the link below to learn more about online storage for your console:


Cloud Storage

To enable Cloud Storage:

  1. Select Settings from the Main Menu.
  2. Select System.
  3. Select Power Saving.
  4. Select Features Available in Rest Mode.
  5. Select Stay Connected to the Internet.
  6. Press the Home button to return to the Main Menu.
  7. Select Settings from the Main Menu.
  8. Select Saved Data and Game/App Settings.
  9. Select Saved Data.

For PS5:

  1. Select Sync Saved Data.
  2. Select Auto-Sync Saved Data.

For PS4:

  1. Select Auto-Upload.

USB Backup (PS4 Only):

  1. Insert a USB into the USB port on the front of your PS4.
  2. Select Settings from the Main Menu.
  3. Select Application Saved Data Management.
  4. Select Saved Data in System Storage.
  5. Select Copy to USB Storage Device.
  6. Select Rocket League.
  7. Wait until the transfer is complete.
  8. Remove the USB device.
