How to disable Read-Only permissions for Rocket League folders to troubleshoot Save Failure issues

If the save game data is stored in a Read-Only folder you may also see error messages. Check to ensure that the Rocket League folders is not Read-Only:

  1. Click on the yellow folder icon in the lower-left corner of the screen.
  2. Click on Documents.
  3. Click on My Games.
  4. Right-click the Rocket League folder.
  5. Choose Properties.
  6. Untick the Read-only box.
  7. Click Apply.
  8. Select Apply changes to this folder, subfolders, and files.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Click OK.
