What is the best WiFi Frequency when Playing Rocket League on Switch?

Many routers send out WiFi signals at two different frequencies, 2.4GHz or 5GHz. Some routers broadcast on both. This gives you the option to choose the one that is best for you.

Here are the differences:

2.4GHz5GHz

InterferenceMore susceptible to interference from microwaves, cordless phones, baby monitors, and neighbors’ WiFi.Less susceptible to interference than 2.4G. Ideal for apartments with interference from neighbors’ WiFi.

The Nintendo Switch can connect to both frequencies. If you are within the recommended 10 ft (3 meters) of the router, the 5GHz option is preferred.

Use the 5GHz option when possible.
